Fall Break takes place on the LCU campus on Thursday-Friday, Oct. 17-18.

The Lubbock Christian University campus is preparing for its annual Fall Break holiday (Thursday and Friday, October 17th-18th). Staff writer Brandon Greer asked several students and faculty members what they were most looking forward to about Fall Break.

Dr. Sara Herrington, private voice lessons teacher: "I am looking forward to carving pumpkins with my four and six-year-old boys."

Mercedes Weast, freshman music education major: "What I look forward to most about Fall Break is seeing my family and just getting to relax a little bit and take a break from school."

Darrell Price, professor in exercise and sport science: "I want to just get away with my sweetheart for about a few days and just try to disappear ... maybe recover a little bit."

Nikki Greer, freshman psychology major: "I look forward to having some time to relax, away from homework."

Donald Darcy, sophomore music major: "I look forward to sleeping ... a lot."

Almost everyone on campus is ready for Fall Break, a time of relaxation, and the beginning of a new quarter. May all student and faculty enjoy a relaxing and safe extra long weekend.
