As a preview of the upcoming presentation of "The Real Master Follies" we'll be taking a look at the eight clubs and their respective shows as they get set for their Feb. 8th and 9th performances.

As the spring semester begins in January, so do the preparations for Master Follies 2013 and the fantastic men of Sub-T are no exception.
"Sub-T is usually known for having a good time," said director Luis Martinez.
When asked if there were any secrets in the works, fellow director Brian Singletary only told The DusterToday that the show would be "fantastic."
Singletary and Martinez were able to say that the traditional Oscar Meyer Weiner song will be making its usual appearance in the show. Both also told us that the crowd can expect some changes like more staging, with less video, and a theme along the lines of "Super Troopers meets the Golden Girls."
Most clubs participating in Follies have the ultimate goal of winning first place in their division. For the men of Sub-T 16 the goal is, and always has been, entertainment. Said Singletary, "We're just there to entertain people. What's Follies without the entertainment?"
The third member of Sub-T's directors group, Jared McDougal, mentioned that ,"People will be pleasantly surprised with our speed drill." McDougal also noted that "We (Sub-T) like to push the boundaries ... just kidding ... no, but seriously ..."
Said Singletary, "We just want our show to be fantastic. If the show is fantastic then we can come away feeling fantastic."
The Subbers look forward to reuniting with alumni and have even launched their very own publicity campaign via Twitter and hope that by the time Follies and voting rolls around that #peopleschoice will be trending worldwide. Show times are February 8th at 7:30 pm and February 9th at 3:00 pm and 7:30 pm. The Saturday night performance is sold out, but tickets to the other two show times are available at www.LCU.edu/tickets.
