The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced that Lubbock Christian University head coach Nathan Blackwood has been named the 2009 Rawlings-NAIA National Baseball Coach of the Year. The award was presented to coach Blackwood at the 2010 Rawlings-NAIA Awards Luncheon last Friday in Dallas.
